What if you wake,

On some random day;

How'd you feel if I was nowhere to be seen,

If I didn't stay?

Maybe in the night,

Or maybe early morn,

How'd you have felt, If I packed up and went?

If someday, I am gone.

Would you be sad?
Would you be happy?
Would you feel let down, or forlorn?

Would you feel bad?

Would you be angry?
If you woke up, and I'm not home?

If someday, I am gone?

What if you'd seen,

My bed was unslept,

My slippers were cold, and all my things still there?

And only I had left.

What if I leave,

As a new day's born.

Don't follow my lead, cause you have to carry on.

If someday, I am gone.

Would you then cry?

Would you be silent?

Would you remember, and would you mourn?

I hope, in time,

I won't be forgotten,

If you woke up and I'm not home.
